CardiNor appoints Paula Lindner as Chief Scientific Officer

Paula Lindner, PhD, is a clinical and scientific strategy professional with more than five years of experience in in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), operating at the intersection of product strategy, regulatory affairs, clinical evidence generation, and commercial positioning. She is experienced in shaping clinical positioning for biomarker portfolios, driving evidence strategies, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders around high-impact product decisions.

Recognized for structuring complex scientific and market landscapes into clear strategic direction, Paula strengthens decision quality and long-term product differentiation. She combines biomarker expertise with strong scenario thinking and the ability to translate clinical complexity into coherent product narratives that support growth and regulatory success.

As Chief Scientific Officer, Paula will lead CardiNor’s scientific strategy and support the continued development of secretoneurin.

Paula and Elin Godager, Chief Commercial Officer of CardiNor AS and Chief Business Officer of IC Targets AS, previously worked closely together at Gentian Diagnostics on the same diagnostic products. Paula focused on the scientific and clinical side, while Elin focused on commercial strategy, positioning, and market-facing execution.

Re-establishing this proven scientific-commercial partnership gives CardiNor immediate leverage as the company sharpens the secretoneurin use case, strengthens the clinical evidence package, and prepares for strategic partnering.
